The name Charmas comes from an obscure Gaelic word evoking family, love, and being charmed or lucky—an idea that perfectly reflects the serendipitous way musicians often find one another at just the right moment.

In late 2025, Patrick Noel Russ joined CHARMAS as lead vocalist and guitarist, bringing his lifelong experience as a performer and songwriter into the fold. Known for his expressive vocals and emotionally resonant original music, Patrick adds depth and storytelling to the band’s already rich musical palette.
